Many of the gorgeous fabrics we use are delicate.
To ensure you can enjoy many nights of dreaming in sensuous comfort and waking in style, give your Clementine Black garments some loving care when you wash and wear.
Take a few moments to read the fabric composition label included with your garment and the washing warnings label sewn on the inside-left seam. You may wish to retain these labels for future reference.
Note that Clementine Black cannot accept responsibility for faults or flaws arising from garments not being cared for in accordance with these instructions.
Be careful when wearing jewellery as clasps, hooks and other jewellery parts can snag fine fabrics. Similarly, avoid putting on your garment immediately after applying perfume, moisturisers or other body care products. These products can mark, stain and discolour fabrics, especially silks.
Keep your garment away from fire and flame.
Clementine Black garments are intended for adult use only. They are neither designed nor constructed to be suitable for use by children.
Many Clementine Black garters feature delicate fabrics and fine adornments, for this reason we recommend gentle spot cleaning using a cool, damp cloth and avoiding any embellishments. Allow the garter to air dry thoroughly before storing in its dust-bag and gift box.
If you feel you must wash your garter, carefully remove any embellishments beforehand, gently hand-wash in cold water with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry.
Do not press, iron or steam your garter.
All Clementine Black garments can be gently hand washed in cold water using a specialist delicate/silks detergent.
Do not use a machine handwash setting as any fastenings, ties or adornments on your garment may be loosened, damaged or detached by this process.
Do not wring or twist garments when washing, rinsing or drying. Instead, gently squeeze the water from the garment and then air dry it on an airing rack taking care to lay the garment flat or gently drape so as to avoid stretching or marking. Clothes pegs, narrow washing lines/racks may cause some fabrics to mark.
Never tumble dry your garment.
If you wish to smooth any wrinkles from your garment, use a cool iron and a pressing cloth to avoid marking or scorching the material.
Never press any mesh/tulle/net garments or parts of garments.
Do not press zips, fastenings or elastic/elasticated areas.
Carefully fold or hang your garments (using a soft hanger) when not in use. In all cases, store away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
